    "DESCRIP" : "La Torre de Alvarado, en Heras, es una excelente muestra de la arquitectura de transición que evoluciona desde la torre medieval hacia los palacios modernos propios de la arquitectura burgalesa del siglo XVI. Dos escudos reflejan la posesión que sobre la torre ejercieron la casa de Velasco, primero, y la de Sota, después. En el frente principal, sobre una ventana guarnecida con pilastras, ménsulas y pináculos de gusto plateresco se repiten las mismas armas acompañadas de la leyenda JUS EST IN ARMIS.",
