En el año 1.844 ya había comenzado a levantarse la torre que hoy en día contemplamos, y su función principal fue la de servir de campanario, usándose sus campanas como forma de comunicación tanto para los vecinos de Limpias como para los de las poblaciones cercanas, gracias a que las mismas se oían en toda la zona.",
